Special teams for both AFC team and NFC team are equal to each other in number of star player. The AFC team has Joshua Cribbs from the Cleveland Browns at kick returner while the NFC has Chicago Bears wide receiver at the same position.
For the AFC team, Shane Lechler from the Oakland Raiders will be the punter, Miami Dolphins Dan Carpenter is to be placekicker, and Lechler’s teammate in Oakland will work as long snapper. San Diego Chargers wide receiver Kassim Osgood is to play as the special teamer.
For the NFC team, Andy Lee, a punter who wears No. 4 San Francisco 49ers jersey will work as the special-team punter. David Akers from the Philadelphia Eagles is to play as placekicker; Minnesota Vikings linebacker Heath Farwell is the special teamer and long snapper is Akers’ teammate’ in Philadelphia Jon Dorenbos.
