McNair’s widow was authorized to sell his restaurant

Probate Court Judge Randy Kennedy has authorized Michelle McNair, the widow of retired NFL player Steve McNair, to sell her husband’s estate in Nashville. McNair opened the restaurant shortly before he was killed by his mistress on July 4.

According the court records, there has been a potential buyer coming forward. The sale was delayed because of an appeal by one of Steve McNair’s business partners. Now that the judge has denied the appeal, Mechelle could go on detailed negotiation with buyers.

Before the judge’s authorization, a Nashville condominium complex claimed that McNair was a co-signer on the lease of a condo for his cousin and he should have share of the restaurant.

All because the former Tennessee Titans quarterback who spent his last NFL season in Ravens jersey had no idea that having trouble with woman could cause sudden death.
